Here I go again...

Back in 2006, I had a blog. Some of you may remember. I read it again tonight for the first time in 2 years and it cracked me up. I've sooooo changed since then and it made me realize how much. I really had a lot of time on my hands back then and nothing really real to bitch about and I bitched anyway. Being spoiled is a lovely thing while it last, but when it runs out its a bitch!

In July 2006 I was a stay-at-home mommy and the kids were babies, we lived in Gainesville and my mom and me were close. I was laying out by my pool 5 days a week and my biggest responsibility (other than the kids) was to have the laundry clean the beer cold. Life was easy like Sunday morning, as Lionel would say.

Now... I am a full time working mom, the kids are in school and no longer babies, we live in Lake Wales and my mom hates it. And when I say hates it, believe me hates it. We moved from Gainesville in January of this year and last month I get a guilt trip letter that said that she finally realizes that we're really gone. "Ummm yeah mom, we're gone. The last 5 guilt trip letters you hadn't gotten that yet huh?" So my life has changed drastically, like Michael Jackson turning from a black man to a white she-male.

Back then I was really dogging on my Mother-in-law. Things have changed. I have grown to respect her and ever care about her. Now don't stretch it and think that were having Sunday tea and getting pedicures together. I also respect and care about not getting a yeast infection but I am not going to have that in my Sunday tea either. Seriously, she is supportive and a wonderful Grandmother to the kids. Period.

Like I said, I am a working full time and from reading the blog from 2 years ago, I went from being in Bec's wedding to working with her everyday. Quite the promotion... I think I spend more time with her then anyone else, even Hubby and the kids. Now it's not always quality time. We do work for D.P.C, but we spend a lot of time together. She has been a constant in my life for as long as Dale has almost. We fight and don't always agree but like gum in your hair, you live with it and grow with it, or you cut it out and look stupid. I like working. I feel like I have something to do with myself and I even get paid! Dale loves this fact. He hated me not working. HATED! It's tiring to get up at 5:45 - 6:00 am to get myself ready, then kids fed and ready, lunch packed, drop Hayden off, then Drop Hunter off, then finally at 8:00=ish go to work and rest :o)

Speaking of that, it's 11:15 pm and I need to sleep. Being 30 I now REQUIRE beauty sleep and even then in the morning it's not that beautiful. I'll update more soon. About the kids, Dale and my new Karaoke addiction...
